So, did anyone else see Night at the Museum?
If so, did anyone experience inner giggles at the scenes with King Akhmen-Ra? Because when the mummy took the bandages off, I was totally expecting an "It's time to duel
sucker, can you dig it!"
Or maybe I just obsess a little.
Help!! I'm plotting out a Yu-Gi-Oh fanfic and I'm in a quandry about Yugi's name.
Yugi is a short-enough name for a short-enough possessed superhero. In the 4Kids version, Joey has managed to shorten his name even more. I understand the use of nicknames, but what is the "accepted" spelling of said nickname?
I've seen "Yuge," but that reminds me too much of Donald Trump, and it sounds wrong in my head.
I've also seen "Yug," but that, too plays all kinds of wrong in my head. I hear "Jug" instead, which sounds worse.
My idea for said shortened nickname is to use the spelling of "Yewg." It looks weird, but it sounds accurate in my head. However, I don't know how it will look and "sound" to other people.
So, what do you think? "Yuge," "Yug," or "Yewg"?
